Winds of Southern Wisconsin invites you to join us for our
Annual Spring One Day Recorder Workshop
Saturday, April 18th, 2015
9 AM – 5 PM
Instructor/Coach: Jerry Hui
Jerry is the Director of Choral Activities at UW-Stout; the director of Eliza’s Toyes, a Madison-based early music vocal/instrumental ensemble; and Schola Cantorum of Eau Claire, an early music chamber choir. He has also been the assistant conductor of the Madison Early Music Festival. Jerry holds a DMA degree in music composition/choral conducting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. In addition to his choral work and composing, Jerry has played recorders for over 10 years. He has performed as soloist as well as part of small consorts. Jerry’s approach to the interpretation of recorder consort music relates directly to his understanding of choral music.
